a 19 year old in a band to be more specific
he flirted with me a lot, and says i'm "gorgeous" and we should hang out some time
would it be bad just to hang out?

you can hang out with him sure, but he's just trying to get laid...
and think of it this way... 19 year olds who try to date 15 year olds are losers... they can't get a girl their own age, so why do you want to be the girl who dates the loser?

There might be exceptions, but most 19 year old males that are willing to flirt with 15 year old girls only want one thing. (Hint: it starts with an s and ends in an x.) The fact of the matter is that most of the time a 19 yr. old is on a different level emotionally, physically, and in maturity than a 15 yr. old, so those that are 19 and willing to flirt with a young teenage girl almost always don't want to just get together and talk. I really don't think he just wants to just "hang out" judging by the way he was talking to you either. I'd stick to guys closer to your own age. You'd probably be putting yourself in a bad situation if you chose to hang out with this loser. Just my opinion though.

It's kind of odd because of the age difference. Age doesn't matter to some, but it's really all relative; I think in high school, middle school, even early college, a gap like that can be telling of the older partner. On a maturity level, it seems kinda iffsky if they're fishing around in the younger group. I'd advise being cautious, but you know the situation much better, as you're directly involved.

You want the honest answer, No. Hanging out isn't at all bad.
But if you're looking (or possibly HE's looking) for it to be more than just hanging out, then it would just be bad.
It's called your setting yourself up in a situation that can't work - or at least it can't work for another 3 years. And Band Guys - aren't exactly known for their monogamous lifestyles.

& if thats the case-- no, wait till your a bit older; like at least 16 or 17.

hang out and have fun just watch how close u get..... there could be something seriouse but hes in a band and there are lots of little hoes out there so just be carefull
