As a girl, I think it would be best to approach her when she is alone. Once you have gotten her alone, do something like this:
You: "Hey."
Her: "Hi."
You: "I was thinking of going iceskating this Friday, do you want to come?"
Her: "That sounds fun."
*Hint* It is best not to have a first date at the movies. It is too dark and quiet.
*Hint* Double dates are good to go on sometimes for a first date because there isn't as much pressure.

OMFG. I am a girl speaking & I think you should totally buy her a soft pretzel & write on the napkin "Will you go out with me? *sign your name" because I told my guy friend to do that for my friend AND she flippin loved it. It was like a cinnamon & sugar pretzel from auntie annes or you could use some other variation. IM SURE SHE'D LOVE IT. You dont even have to 'say' the words. you know? I think this is perfect for you. whatever you do, dont have your friend, or her friend ask her for you.
