I would choose 2-the first would be any charity that helps abused children and the second would be the ASPCA. I would also like to give money to food banks, they really need the donations too.

I would give some to my church. The building is in dire need of repair. It is a very old congregation & the building is 85. I would give some to the Susan G. Komen Foundation & some to research for Huntington's disease. That's about $10,000,000 worth. If I were to win $15,000,000 or $20,000,000 , I'd do the same.

If I found that I HAD that kind of money, I'd like to think that a very large chunk of it would go to ...
Jehovah's Witnesses Emergency Relief Fund:
Contributions to the Community
http://www.jw-media.org/people/contribute.htm
Because they are all volunteers.
None take pay for the work they do, not even the organizers.
They're usually the quickest relief suppliers of natural disasters.
All money donated to their relief fund goes directly to relief efforts.
Volunteers pay their own way to get to the site/s needing relief.
(More details are on the web-page listed above.)
I wouldn't win it, though, as I don't enter contests.
An inheritance of some kind would have to be the source.
But, I figure that the source doesn't mean as much to you,
as the attitude of the supposed recipient/s.

I would give 49 million.
I would give a great deal of it to works among children in third world countries. But I would keep some to oversee how the money was being used.

I'd give it to faith-based ministries that help people around the world. Organizations for world health, children, etc. I'd give it to organizations that are trying to stop man's inhumanity to his fellow man. I'd give it to faith-based ministries, because historically, those organizations have done more good for mankind than any other type of organization.

St. Judes Hospital. They HELP children.
Others do not. Especially those christian funds that help children in other countries. I donated to one for 3 years and was very disappointed.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital here in Memphis.
They do great work and really help children and their families.
I personally owe them infinite thanks because they have saved the life of my niece. Because of them, she will live a normal life.
Not to mention my sister has never received a single hospital bill.
