Some people start going senile. They change, and start to do odd things. My wifes aunt who is 78 is getting that way. She thinks everyone wants her money, and seems to think everyone is out to get her. That's started in the last couple of years. It's not easy to see it happen, but just remember that, and still be kind to them. They don't really know they are hurting you.

Check with his doctor about the onset of dementia and get ready for a LONG haul. Paranoia is one of the many symptoms of dementia.

Get him to a doctor. A SUDDEN change like that is often a sign of TIA (transient ischemic attack) a form of stroke.

Probably not, especially if this is not his usual way with you.

You need to tell his doctor and / or his family tomorrow morning.
