You can actually get a spousal visa now, so that you don't have to be attached to a company to maintain your status. If you are a US citizen, you would have to give that up to become Korean and then get a visa to visit your family. And if you are white, you will never be accepted as a Korean by other people, and mixed kids in Korea are just begging to spend their life being tormented. Don't do that to your future child. I know love is grand, but if it is your gf that wants you to get Korean citizenship, think carefully before you mess up the lives of a lot of people, including you.

I would not do that.
Since you marry to Korean gf, get a visa for work. I don't recommend become a Korean citizen. Why don't you to have some time in Korea with your gf/future wife. You might change your mind. Obviously it is not your country and so many things are different, and different culture.
If you still sure about it. try, but you need to speak and read Korean fluently to get cityzenship.
Oh, if you want to visit your family in the US, you need to have visa which is not that easy to get. Will be hilarious.

I have been married to a Korean for 35 years. She is now a U.S. citizen. I would highly suggest that you retain your citizenship rather than taking Korean citizenship. This is, of course, your choice, but there is no real advantage of changing to Korean. You can live in Korea under a work visa. Korea, by the way, does allow dual citizenship. The only advantage you might see is paying only Korean taxes rather than also to your home nation. That being said, many countries have a reciprocal treaty with South Korea allowing exemptions for income earned elsewhere. A tax advisor can help you.
While unlikely, if you are a Korean citizen and war were to break out, you cannot be evacuated as a foreigner would be.
Bottom line: keep your citizenship and just live in Korea with your new wife.

Once you married, I'm guessing its just like every others countrys methods. You have to apply for for a visa to live in the country. I'm guessing you need your marrage cert. and some history of how you meet how you fell in love etc etc. Once you collected that you then go to the visa office with your wife and put forward your case. Its just then a case of waiting for your turn to be process.
Good luck

Try this link first:
http://www.dynamic-korea.com/consulate_service/other.php
Then try this link:
http://www.immigration.go.kr/HP/IMM80/index.do
Both links should give you a reference base to start your homework on emigrating to Korea, Visas, and the like.
Good Luck!
