Did you know that Jesus said...
"An evil and adulterous generation craves for a sign; and yet no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet (that was Jesus' death and resurrection)"
"The men of Nineveh will stand up with this generations at the judgment, and will condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here."
Mat 12:39 and 41
Who do you think the ''men of Nineveh'' are, who have repented?
Are we not living in an evil generation?
If not, have you seen the news lately? Is there anything good to say anymore?

The Bible is not proof of your God.
Next.
""An evil and adulterous generation craves for a sign; and yet no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet (that was Jesus' death and resurrection)"
How convenient. The Bible is brilliantly constructed to be a self-supporting tome: it demonizes those who dare challenge its absurd extraordinary claims.
"Who do you think the ''men of Nineveh'' are, who have repented?"
Not 'are'. 'Were'. The city of Nineveh, as far as I know, is no more.
The only reason we're living in an evil generation is because of your God's fan club.

That's a good reminder. Even if signs were given they would be quickly dismissed by skeptics.
People have thought they were in the end times every since Jesus died. Are we in the end times now? I don't know, looking at history the prophesies of the old testament were fufullied in ways that were not expected by anyone. I doubt we can get it right this time either.
We need more emphasis on doing our best and improving ourselves rather than wasting energy for "signs" Looking for signs is interesting, and I give a little time to that, but how does that profit me or God?...UPC code mark of the beast and red heifer people occasionally drive me nuts. I'm sure the Bible is right in saying that no one will know the time.

Come on, every generation thinks that. Look back to the crusaders, they also looked for a sign and were murderous and evil. Look at the atrocities that Christians have performed over the centuries, the pure evil that has come out of that church, does having that on the planet prove God? Or just that people can be evil and cruel and religious people can be worse than everyone else. And I realize that Christians will hate this response, but it is truthful how corrupt Christianity has been over the centuries.

You're biggest mistake is using the bible to prove your belief. Hello, we don't believe in the bible! Your circular reasoning shows how truly uneducated you are. Anyway..
If you didn't know, people have been evil throughout history. Nothing has changed there. If anything we are more civilized because of education. Any person can say that things are going to get worse. It is a 37.6 chance that there prediction would come true. 1 chance is that things would get better. Another would be that they stay the same. No real genius thought there.
Now if the bible had talked about microscopic organisms that caused disease instead of demons, or something else scientific that was not known then I would be convinced. However, this puny defense is not worth the consideration.

Every generation is an evil generation. There have been atrocities and murders and general rudeness for as long as there have been people, and there will continue to be. So what you are trying to say is that there will never be a sign? I didn't need the bible to tell me that...

Some quote about nonbelievers is not proof of your book's veracity. Any petty doctrine could make the same claim. It inherently supports the idea that it takes just this kind of intellectual failure in order to believe the Abrahamic dogma at all.

Bible verses are not proof of any gods existence. First you'd have to prove the bible is a credible source. The only reason it's considered credible is because it's apparently "God's word". How do we know this? Because the bible says so. That's circular "logic", and as such is worthless.
You've offered no evidence here.

Wow, proof at last! Proof of complete ignorance. You are using words, and I'm proud of you for that. ::yawn::
The more things change, the more they stay the same. The world is no worse off today than it was 2000 years ago. Just a different setting. In fact, things are a little better these days. We aren't nailing Christians to trees or feeding them to lions anymore.

Just because something is written and it says itself is true does not make it so. I could write a book, call it divinely inspired and swear up and down that it is the word of God, but that wouldnt make it so.
There have ALWAYS been atrocities we just hear more about them now due to better technology

Sure... we are living in an evil generation. So were are parents, and their parents, and so on and so on.
What you think the spanish inquisiton and the crusades were enlightened happy go lucky times? There have been times far more evil than now throughout history. Now we have tv and the internet to communcate it instantly.
