I have answered a lot of questions about this. God the Father sent His one and only Son to die for us on the cross. On the 3rd day He rose again from the dead! Jesus died for us; that we can live eternally in Heaven when we die. His precious blood will wash away your sins if you believe in Him. Those who reject this wonderful love gift shall hear these words spoken to them on the day of the Great White Throne Judgment:
"Depart from Me, ye cursed, into the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels!"
Then you will be cast into the Lake of Fire. You will live there, night unto day unto night for eternity, with no rest nor water.
Jesus' final words to His followers before He ascended into Heaven were "Behold, I am coming soon."
And He is!
Any day now He will come down from the clouds "with the voice of an archangel and the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first." That means that all the people who trusted in Christ and died will rise again to be with their Lord. When they have, all of us believers who are alive and remain on Earth will be caught up together with Him in the clouds to meet Jesus in the air. Those who have rejected Him will go through a terrible 7-year tribulation filled with terror, God's judgement and death. Even if the Rapture occured at this very moment and you were left behind, it will still not be too late for you to accept Him as your Saviour. You will continue through the Tribulation, but you can rest assured that when you die you shall go to Heaven.
THIS IS NO JOKE!!!!
Please don't wait to recieve this gift; JESUS IS COMING SOON!

The rapture is the sudden removal of the church(believers in Christ) from earth to be with the Lord. In Acts 1:9-11, after Jesus gave final instruction to his disciples he rose to the heavens and disappeared behind a cloud. The disciples stared and then two angels appeared and told them that just as they see him go into the heavens he will return in like manner. In Revelation 1:7 John writes that he shall come with the clouds and every eye shall see him. When Jesus returns to earth everyone will see him at that time with their own two eyes. As for the rapture, Paul speaks of the event in 1 Thessalonians 4:13 - 5:2. A time will come when the Lord will call up the believers with a trumpet or a shout and we will meet him in the air. First the dead in Christ and then the living will meet him in the air. Some confuse this moment with the Second Coming, but it's not. The Second Coming is when the Lord returns and plants his feet on earth again. In the rapture he is above the world and awaits the believers. Jesus alludes to the rapture and the events of the end in Matthew 24. I hope this helps you.

The Rapture is a term given to the moment in which the Bible says that the believers (body of Christ, the Church) would be "caught up, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye." The word "rapture" comes from the word in the Greek language Bible that was used to describe this event, which is "rapare" which means "to snatch out or to seize". The moment will be virtually instantaneous! The moments you're describing in which "every eye shall see Him" occur NOT at the Rapture, but at the Second Coming at the end of the Tribulation period when He comes to restore the Earth to is original grandeur and establish the Millenial Kingdom.

According to Jehovah's Witnesses, the Second Coming, and return of the Christ, is called the Rapture. Catholics and most Protestants call this the Last Judgement.
No, I don't think hell is a fiery place of torment. Hell is seperation from God; any distance between the created and the Creator is hell, which is why the Christian life is a constant progression, towards what it comprehends as the ultimate source of life.

The Second Coming of Christ will occur in stages. First, He will remove all Christians from the Earth, to protect them. This is called "The Rapture." The term comes from the Latin verb raptare, and the Greek word harpizo, both meaning "to be caught up" or "to be snatched up." Jesus will "snatch us" out of

The rapture is described in 1Thessalonians:
According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
1Th 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
1Th 4:18 Therefore encourage each other with these words.
1Th 5:1 Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you,
1Th 5:2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
1Th 5:3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
1Th 5:4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.
1Th 5:5 You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
1Th 5:6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled.
1Th 5:7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.
1Th 5:8 But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
1Th 5:9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Th 5:10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.
1Th 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
And from the words of Jesus in Luke 17
Lk 17:26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.
Lk 17:27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
Lk 17:28 “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
Lk 17:29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Lk 17:30 “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
Lk 17:31 On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.
Lk 17:32 Remember Lot’s wife!
Lk 17:33 Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
Lk 17:34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
Lk 17:35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left. 70 ’”
