We tried to date at the beginning of the year, but his heart was still with someone else. He lead me to believe that eventually we could try again. Now he's over his ex, and moving on to his ex-ex-girlfriend. How can I convince not to move backward with her, but move foward with me?

I think that he let you down easy. He probably realized that you weren't compatible enough or that he would rather have you as a friend. I think you should just get over him and move on to the next best thing. If he said that maybe you and him can try again then let him know, that if he's ready to try again then you're ready too. And if he's STILL not ready --- just move on. There's more fish in the sea.

This guy doesn't seem like he wants to move back with you. Why is he going back to his ex/ex any ways? Maybe you need to just move on your self, and find someone else who will appreciate you.
If he really loves you, he will come back to you. Other wise let him go.

You can only stand by and wait if this is what you want. He cannot give you his heart if it is still with her. Move on or just be the friend that he needs right now.
