I think that it isn't more common it is just out of the closet. More people are getting help and it is no longer a shameful secret..There is nothing to be ashamed of. Depression is caused by a chemical imbalance.More people are aware of this now days and thankfully more are receiving help.

Do you mean mental disorders? Since this is under the mental health section, I'm going to assume that's what you mean.
There are plenty of neurological disorders that aren't mental; I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, for example.
Mood and Anxiety Disorders seem to be really common these days. Lots of kids are being diagnosed with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I think it's a combination of 1. More recognized disorders and the symptoms are easier to recognize. 2. People being less ashamed to talk about it. 3. Some Doctors are too quick to give a diagnosis and hand out medication.
I heard of a guy whose wife died and his doctor gave him Zoloft for a couple of months. What's wrong with normal grieving? I'm not a doctor, but I wonder if things like that are really necessary all of the time.
I have been treated for depression and anxiety for about 20 years, and I have also worked for mental health agencies for about the same amount of time.

you want supplementations and minerals. What you've is frequent for someone this isn't any longer taking what the body desires. once you get warm and also you commence feeling a headache or basically the starting up of it do top the following. Take a tumbler, put in it somewhat bought and somewhat vinega mixture that with watter and then swollow it. It does no longer style sturdy in spite of the undeniable fact that it supplies your body bought and potatium this is what he looses even as it really is warm. besides pass to a keep and purchase Vit C in powder that you mixture in watter and drink. No particular basically the organic Vit C in powder. Drink one to 2 cups an afternoon and that could want to be sensible lots. There are another Vit you may want to be taking yet commence with that once which we are able to pass from there. Take care and robust success.

There are just better tools and research for diagnosing and treatiing them than there used to be.There probably not any more common except that there are more people in the world today to have these diseases.Plus they are living longer.

Hello Cloudy. I think they always existed. Nowadays with plenty of information and advertising they became known. Maybe before they did not have a name. Now we have a name for every disease!.....ADD, depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, social phobia, panic attacks, etc. Before these people were called crazy!!...now they have a pretty normal life with meds. In my opinion their symptoms overlap.
