Toyota in NASCAR was good decision for them. The BIG 3 are just a bit scared of a little friendly competition. I think that if Nascar is going to get better and grow, more variety is needed. They also need to kill the chase system. Leave the playoffs for football and basketball!!

Toyota is smart for getting in the game.

However, Nascar is for idiots. I can't see the fun in watching a bunch of cars go around an oval track 300 times.

Keep in mind that Toyota HAS BEEN in Nascar for several years now in the Truck series. (Same engines and frames, just a slightly different aero package to make them look like trucks) They won the Truck series manufacturer listings last year after several years of trial and error. Now after being in the "minor leagues" for the past several years, they're finally getting into the "big leagues". We'll have to see if they have the same growing pains as they did in the Truck series, but if they do what they did there, they should be relatively successful.

It's fine by me, I love Toyota's in general anyway. It's also great for NASCAR all around. I think it will take Toyota awhile before they get into victory lane, however they will get there.

Well, Most Toyota's are Domestic these days, and most 'American' cars do not meet the standards required to be considered domestic.

I don't watch Nascar, but I think they'll do well. Of course, that depends on the drivers too.

fans against racing toyotas

well, some people who dont even understand what it takes to drive a car 200mph without making even the slightest mistake, will not like nascar anyway.

im not really a nascar fan but saying "nascar is for idiots" is pretty lame of you. besides you would be way to pussy to even try saying that to a real fan... hell im not much of a fan but i sure would smash your balls with a pair of rusty channel locks.
