Like any dog, a Lab will stop growing by the age of 2 yrs old. That is the full and complete maturity level. If you would like more info on Labs go to www.AKC.org

Labs stop growing at about 1 year to 11/2 they reach full height a little over a year but fill out afterwords. The english conformation labs stop growing later, american labs or field dogs, earier as they dont bulk up so much

THis is best determined by the size of the dogs parents, some labs are substaintially bigger than others. My purebred was about 70lbs by a year and a half and stayed that way. My cousins purebred from different parents was the biggest one of the litter and is know about 130lbs. He is fat though, and needs a good diet probably 10-15 pounds.

They stop growing between 11 - 15 months. At that point they are usually as tall as they are going to get. They then start to fill out as their muscle mass develops.

Now when are they grown up (as in settled down) that varies. Some calm down at around a year and a half some take as long as 3 years.

They are worth waiting for.
