I might just turn around and go home. I don't mind parking and walking, never park on the curb, never EVER park in the handicap space. I just hate dealing with the crowds and if there are that many cars in the lot, I can only imagine how many people are in the store.

Park at the end of the lot. I do not cruise a parking lot looking for the best. I park in the first (closest) I see and walk in. If that turns out to be the farthest away from the door then so be it. I am able bodied and most times beat the trollers. And yes, I hate people that make their own parking spaces. Makes me wish I owned a tow truck.

I park far away and walk. I have a big pickup that's hard to park, and I don't mind the walk. I'd never take a handicapped spot that I wasn't entitled too.
And if the parking lot is crowded enough to use the curb, it's too crowded inside too, I'd just go somewhere else.

I don't drive now but I never went for the spots closest to the store when I still had a car. Nothing wrong with my legs, it was usually even quicker than getting caught in the traffic jam near the store with lots of people, cars, shopping carts, and sometimes still not finding a spot!
I liked it best to do my shopping at night though, when I lived in Dallas and we had several 7/24 grocery stores nearby. Parking in an almost-empty lot, no chatting housewives or screaming kids in the store, no lines.... If at all possible I shopped after midnight!

HMMM a tough one. A handicapped ticket will cost 250 dollars, and tow and impound will be almost the same as that. Park at the curb and you might get your car hit, hope its not a in a fire lane and that you won't get towed. I think I would go with park at the end of the lot.

I find the best non-handicap space, even if it is far away.
I NEVER park in handicap except when I have a handicap person in the car with me, and they bring their own permit/placard. It is really rude (as well as illegal) for people capapble of walking to take up those spaces.

If the store is really busy and crowded, I tend to park as far away as possible. Walking isn't that bad. I NEVER take a handicap space... that is just really WRONG!!!

I take the first available space and walk. It's faster than driving around the parking lot ten minutes trying to find a spot that 25 feet closer.

I park in the the far end of the lot if that's where there's an open spot. I think its horrible to park in handicapped parking if you aren't handicapped.

I drive around until I find a space that is pretty close. If I've been driving around for more then 10 min, then I just park in the space that is farther away.
