Lol. Heathen's were born right the first time. There is however a ritual in Asatru known as a profession, where you pledge yourself to the Gods.
P.S. There is a bumper sticker that you can buy that says "Born Again Heathen". I believe it's sole on CafePress or Evolve Fish.

You send me a check or money order for $14.95 USD, along with a pink post-it note with the handwritten phrase "I want all of the salami". Then you go forth, naked, into your backyard, or your neighbors backyard if you have none of your own, or the front yard or street, whichever is most convenient, and under the light of the full, or mostly full, or even half or 3/4 moon loudly intone "Purple Monkey Dishwasher" three times. I communitcate on to God with the help of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit... i'd ask someone to wish for me, yet I easily have an instantaneous line to the daddy on each and every occasion i opt to speak with Him. that's area of the reason why Christ died for us.... so some distance as hypcritical christians... definite i agree there are quite some... yet you won't be able to choose all on the account of a few... i attempt to forgive as Christ forgives us... i attempt to stay the lifestyles that He needs me to stay..... yet i'm human and that i'm no longer God for this reason i'm no longer proper.... I also agree that no longer one faith of christianity is punctiliously suitable... that's why even as it comes right down to it... i have self assurance what i have self assurance God has shown me and what i interpret from the Bible... Born again Heathen.... if that's what you call your self it would not offend me.... provide us yet another question! : )
