I'm getting ready to apply for colleges and scholarships and I hear a lot about FAFSA. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but a little background information may help in your replies.

I have lived on my own since I was 17. And have been my own primary provider through high school, so I really don't have a lot of money to go to college on. I will graduate this may. If it is a grant or scholarship would I be eligable?

All information is welcome.

Thank you.

FAFSA is a required form that helps determine your eligibility for scholarships, grants, loans and work-study programs. It stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Eligibility is determined on your income, among other things - the higher your income, the less you're typically eligible for (as far as scholarships go).

There is a TON of money out there that goes unclaimed. In addition to scholarships that are solely for your school, check out the links below for other scholarships and grants that you may be eligible for.
