Okay...so this is a little weird to ask.
I was talking with my mother the other day and somehow we got onto the topic of my childhood. I mentioned to her that I don't remember much of my childhood. She seemed surprised and asked if I remembered the "awful" things my older sister used to "do to me."

I always thought my sister and I were close when I was little. I don't know what she was talking about, though I have a memory where my sister backed me into a corner and dug her nails into my skin. She wouldn't answer when I asked her what she was talking about, and both she and my father change the topic whenever I bring it up. This is odd, because I'm close with my mom. I haven't talked to my sister.

I'm wondering if this may explain some of the darker thought processes I have had. Am I just being paranoid? How should I get my parents into telling me what this is all about?

unfortunatly this could be a number of things. possibly your just paranoid or maybe you really did supress some memories. personally i dont thinkii ever supressed anything i just dont care to recall them and avoid thinking about the past. just the other day i met someone who was a huge part of my life last year that i had forgot ever existed like i blocked out half of my memory. if thats what supressed memories are like then your circumstance may very well be that.

They might not want to bring up the past to keep you from being angry at your sister or they may be keeping something from you for a reason. I don't think you are being paranoid. It isn't really healthy that they made you wonder what she did as your imagination can run wild. They should tell you if you ask. I would ask until I get an answer and tell them how you feel. Darker thought processes can be caused by your personality, depression, and a lot of other things. I wouldn't jump to conclusions but I would want to know what they were talking about.

relies upon. no longer something ever is uncomplicated, yet when i attempt to describe something for somebody else I many times commence with an particularly elementary assessment and then artwork into the information that pastime them. maximum individuals doubtless discover that lifestyles is a lot less complicated by technique of simplifying them, yet surely that's only a fashion of mendacity to your self in what you discover an perfect way. The mind also sees progression a lot inspite of if there is none. See how imprecise it were given? ^^ nicely, to provide an social gathering i might want to assert that if a baby stole your wallet and ran off you may want to swiftly spout expressions like "youthful little ones of today" and pass on about how youthful little ones respected the elders once you've been youthful etc etc and experience anger against any adolescents on the on the spot. yet - in reality - you in elementary words carry grudge against that one unknown human being.

I'd think you were being paranoid but your mom acted weird. you should find a time alone with her and ask her directly to clarify what she was talking about. Don't take no for an answer. And remember, kids are insane when they are growing up - if your sister is good to you now she obviously loves you. What she did as a child should be talked about, but not necessarily judged. Unelss it was really really screwed up...

im going to through a similar thing right now, but if anything did happen to me, my parents don't know anything about it. I'm thinking about going to a docter who can put me under hypnosis so that I can remmber on my own, you could try that, good luck!
