Well, Dreamer I am a 36 year old woman with a 17, 14, and 7 yr old, all girls.
Just be yourself, sometimes adults like and admire youngsters with a adult-like conversation. I know for sure I would.
Be Yourself, it will feel nice.

First of all.. it's great that you care and want the adults to understand that you do. You know, they probably are ready to accept you more than you think they are.
I would advise you to follow the basic rules that are true for talking to anyone, like being considerate, listening politely, etc. But if you are talking to people who are older than you, there is another important ingredient: respect. You don't want to tease them like you would one of your friends your own age, and you want to show that what they say is important. If for no other reason, because they have been alive a lot longer than you have. :-) It is even possible to disagree with an adult and do it respectfully. :-)
Just don't be intimidated and be the sweetie that you are. ;-)

i wouldnt want to hear a kid (im 16 by the way) complaining about how their relationship life sucks and never will get a boyfriend/girlfriend
i would like to hear about them talk about something OTHER than sexual things (family member ALWAYS makes sexual jokes and so do alot of teenage GIRLS at my school, so its quite annoying)

I'm sorry, but I don't understand why you think you would be seen as a brat, etc.
Good things to talk about: TV shows, movies, sports, what you want to do/go to school/college, etc.
Bad things to talk about: Boys (as far as crushes, etc.), what your mom/dad do for a living, how much they make, etc.
Overall, just be yourself and be positive about life.
(If you give more details about what the situation is (e.g. a party) it would be helpful, too)

I would love to hear a young adult say anything to me. Most are intimidated. I think any converstion you make will be vastly appriciated. Just the fact you asked that question shows you are a mature person.

well, first off, i dont want to hear a teen talk about 'teen' things. boys, clothes, friends, etc. talk as if you are an adult. its not really what you talk about but, more or less, how you talk about it i guess.

Just don't say anything nasty, and you'll be fine. Think about what you're about to say, if you wouldn't like to hear it, then don't speak of it.
