yes, hair is just dead cells after if grows out of your scalp. and most likely short hair doesn't need to be condictioned. give it a try for a couple weeks (w/o condictioner) and if you hair getts real dry go back to using condictioner.

Someone who sells hair products would tell you that it does need to be conditioned but in my experience, short hair doesn't need conditioner. Now that my hair is long, it is impossible to handle without tons of conditioner but short hair gets more of the natural oils from your scalp so it needs less. Yes, hair is pretty much dead except at the root.

No, short hair doesn't NEED to be conditioned, but you should use a little anyway about every other time you shower to prevent your scalp from getting too dry and getting flaky.

Also, "hair" IS dead. Hair is dead body cells that gets all mushed together and pushed (grown, if you will) out of your scalp. This is why it doesn't hurt to get your hair cut...because it's already dead.

yeah..hair is dead.

Depends on your hair type. If i get it really short, i dont' condition. But my hear is very thick. It actually hurts sometimes if i don't condition it.

During the winter i wear a beanie about 24/7 and i condition more than ever cuz i'll get a headache otherwise.

Depends why you condition too. IF you want extra volume or it gives you shiny hair.....might still want to condition if its short.

All hair should be conditioned. It helps keep it healthy. As soon as your hair is out of your scalp, like out of the follicle, it is dead. That is why hair has to be taken care of well.

I think your hair should be conditioned no matter what the length is, conditioning your hair makes it stronger and healthier.
