because they are not with God. God does not anger easily. His temper is so slow that we do not get punishments so hard. this just show that He loves us.

Because he is renound to be all mighty. Also, there have been many Gods in the past (Zeus, Jupiter, Ra) for example, have all been portrayed as mighty, devine beings. Maybe its just a pass-down thing.

actually the right answer is poeple afraid of them selves. God never mean that far, people only care about themselves, that's why she/he prefers to protect their life in this world by doing the right thing in their God's eye. for me afraid of God it is so human being, and i never deny to myself that i afraid being ignored by my Lord, coz His love is Greater than any others Love...
