dont be so sure you dont like him that way. you say he is nice boy the nicest boy . so how about you give him a chance .
the other big thing here is that your friends sometimes can know you better then you know yourself. give this all a chance . its not like you have to sleep with him . go to a movie out to dinner or whatever a few times say 4 times and then see what you think.
its really worth a chance . trust me i know what of i write

If you don't want to get into a relationship, don't get into the relationship! It'll just be more disaster later, when you actually start liking someone truly, but then you don't want to break Travis's heart because he's already your bf at that time. If your friends are going to get mad at you for not going out with Travis, that means they're not good friends, because they don't care about what you think. Although it is going to be heartbreaking for Travis, tell him in a nice sort of way. Maybe you could just comfort him a little, by saying, "Travis, I really like you, and you're such a nice boy, but I really think we should just be friends for now. But I'll still be thinking of you." This way, you don't have to go out with Travis, and Travis is happy that you think he's a nice guy and that you guys can still be friends, and that you'll still be thinking about him.

I totally get where you're coming from. Maybe you could mention something to Travis about calling his friends off. As politely as possible, tell Travis that his friends don't seem to understand that you and he are only going to be friends, and with what they're doing, they're making even being friends nearly impossible. Maybe if Travis realizes that he's doing more harm than good, he'll get the troops to retreat.

Look this is totally up to you don't make anyone try to make your decisions for you.Take a stand and tell them that you like the guy as a friend and you should confront him and tell him as well. You shouldn't live your life for someone else you should live life to please yourself. Hey I am not saying that you should be mean don't get it twisted. Just be firm about your decisions because friends carry you and they don't bring you back which is an old saying of my great grandmother. Go out with the guy that you want to go out with.

This is all you have to say) I just dont think we have anything in common, I like you, but not in a romantic way. You dont need to say anything else, and dont let your friends pressure you to be with someone when your just not feeling it. By doing that you arent being fair to yourself, and you is what is most important.

In the dating world, you don't want to be cruel, but you have to be firm...tell him you want to be his friend, but not in that "mushy-gushy" sort of way. Don't pay any mind to the peer pressure because they're not in your position. Besides, you wouldn't want anyone you sincerely liked to put up a front about liking you if they really didn't...would you?

Be his friend silly. Everyone can think what they want, all you need to do is tell him how great of a guy you think he is and that you really want to be friends but that yu don't have those other kinds of feelings for him. Its simple really.

You seem to complain about peer presure. If you don't like that, then you surely must like the opposite to that, which would be thinking for your own self. Why ask strangers...?

You shouldn't go out with him if your not attracted to him. Tell him asap. It doesn't matter what other people think. It matters what you and Travis feel. Be honest.
