Yes, stay off your feet and do not move around for any reason. If it gets worse call 911 and they will get you to the hospital. Good luck. You shouldn't be talking to us. Lie down.

You need to calm down first of all. I know you are scared, but getting stressed isn't good for the baby.
I am no doctor, BUT, the stomach and back pains, like period cramps, could be from your uterus growing.
As far as the pinkish discharge, that may or may not be normal.
When I was 3 months pregnant, I too had a slight discharge, and went to the emergency room, turned out, the sex I had earlier that day, was probably the reason for it.
If I were you, I would call your doctor, most have an after hours service. Tell him what's going on, and he may suggest coming in tomorrow morning, or going to the emergency room after your boyfriend gets home. Either way, you will be given a sonogram, have your cervix checked, give a urine sample, and blood samples, so that your hormone level can be tested.
However, I was told, if you are having a miscarriage that early on in pregnancy, the only thing they can do, is give you pain medication, and wait for the baby to pass, or give you a dnc. There isn't much you can do to stop a miscarriage that early on.
Please don't think the worse though, it could also be caused from a urinary tract infection, or bladder infection. Many different things can cause slight bleeding.
Just call your doctor asap.
Good Luck!

I had a small amount of pinkish blood from the vagina after a bowel movement early on and i think it was from straining too hard (yes too much information i know) Anyway it happened to me twice, the first time i freaked out and the Dr told me i was miscarrying and i had an ultrasound and everything was just fine.
If the blood was just a watery pink then you may have done the same thing although of course you should check with your Dr as i am not a Dr.
I thought i was having slight cramps that day too - i would definately check with the Dr but just wanted to let you know that i went through the same thing so things could be ok. I am due in 12 days.

Call your doctor. If they are closed for the day, call the after hours nurse...if your doctors office doesn't have one, call the hospital where you will be delivering. Ask them if you need to come in. If they think it's serious and you have no one else to call..call an ambulance. If your mom is willing to drive the 45 minutes have her start driving now, that way by the time you figure out what you need to do, she will be there or close to being there. If the roads are really terrible your best bet might be an ambulance. But don't freak out, keep calm and find out what your doctor wants you to do and go from there. Keeping calm will help your 5 year old keep calm too. Good Luck. It also just sounds like your muscles are stretching..but better safe than sorry...call your Doc.

I believe what you are having is normal "growing pains". Try taking a nice shower, then putting your feet up, and relax. If something was wrong you would have Bleeding, If it does not chance and your really worried after the boyfriend comes home have him take you to be checked. .
If you have a BM and you get a little pinkish that could be from your bottom not your vaginal area also. Probley hemroids!
You going be having nerve issuse with your back though. Its called a sciatic nerve.
Try reading this on it. http://www.spine-health.com/topics/cd/sciatica/sciatic_nerve01.html
I think it might explain alot.

I agree with Lina. Also, if it was the beginning of a miscarraige, there isn't anything anyone can do to stop it. I had the same issues the first 4 months of my pregnancy minus the bm thing.

Call 911, sounds like your trying to miscarry. Call your Mom and ask her, but I would call 911, hopefully you can save the baby. Lay down and elevate your feet until the ambulance arrives. They will take your 5 year old with you until either your Mom or your husband arrives. Do it now!!!!! With the roads being bad, an abulance is your best bet. You are talking about blood from the vagina aren't you? Best to be safe than sorry.

I just read about your symptoms on Yahoo. It said if you have these symptoms it could be pre-term labor:
1.low abdominal cramps similar to menstrual
2.low backache
3.pelvic pressure
4.gas or diarrhea
5.vaginal spotting or bleeding
6.vaginal discharge as a gush or heavy leak
I'm concerned that the blood wasn't from your rectum and suggest that you contact someone who can get you to the ER. Good luck sweetie.

If you don't have vaginal bleeding, you shouldn't worry. You could be having pains from your uterus starting to stretch.
