ok, so this gir and i were seeing each other, we went out a few times and then out of nowhere she said she just wanted to be friends.
I then stopped speaking to her, but would always catch her looking at me in the pub and at college. When I finally went up to another girl, and asked for her number, she came over and said "he's taken". We are now talking again, quite alot via text and msn. She kept telling me how depressed she was, and kept trying to get me to meet up with her. After that she started to text me again and she told me she was no longer feeling depressed. Today was valentines day, she told me it's her most dreaded day of the year. When i asked why she said that being single on valentines day was horrible. So i said to her, via text, "i thought u didnt want a relationship" (because thats what she told me, 2 months earlier). I got no reply to that question, although she did message me on msn and while i was at work.
Why didnt she give me a straight answer? Please help!

she either doesn't know what is going on inside her head

or she's messing with yours

(maybe she fancies you but fancied someone else more... didn't want you to know... then THAT didn't work out and she was depressed, and then maybe she found someone else - an awful lot of maybe's)

I'm sorry to say this but women don't know what they want all the time, we work on hormones and it's either one of two things, she either doesn't want you but doesn't want anyone else to have you or she can't make up her mind for some reason. Stand up for yourself, give her an ultimatum. It's either yes or no. Don't allow yourself to be used. Life is too short.

She probably doesn't have a straight answer to give you. Either because she wavers, or has someone else in which she interested or for some other reason. Are you sure you'd be happy with someone in your life who is there and then isn't there?

sounds like shes got issues.

Im guessing somethings happened to her to make her feel this way on such a day like valentines day.

Send her an e-mail saying you miss her how you feel and can she talk to you and stuff.

Follow your heart but don't ler her get you down.

Geezer, life's too short.

Get the 'phone numbers - (and a life) - of all the good looking girls around you and have a good time.

By the time you're my age you will realise silly little girls messing with your head are wasting your time & your life.

I go back to my opening statement!!!!!

Forget this girl. Get her out of your life. She seems like an extreme case of ambivalency Search for new pastures. Its time to move on.

she sounds like she's got issues, or is in fact just a nut job. she wants someone to trail round after her giving her attention but probably isn't that interested in you. leave her alone and find a proper woman!
