Can you believe that?I have a b'friend but I've never had one valentine's day with him ,and he's never done any thing on the days since our start.
I was so disappointed to that.He treated me pretty nice, cared about me so much, and did many things for me.He only gave me a expensive present on my birthday every year, but never gave me any(even one flower) on valentine's day.He gave me a reason that coz every valentine's day in our winter vacation, and his home far away from me ,so he didn't do anything(he said by a assertive voice). And when I told him,I was so unhappy when everytime I heard people said in anywhere:Happy Valentine's Day!! in the day,and he just replied me :I just can't do anything, what ever do you want me to do??! then I just stoped, and don't wanna talk to him about my feeling to this anymore.

Sometime,I thought:why can't he just posted me a card or a small present or .... anything little thing like that for celebrating our valentine's day??

If he treated you well the rest of the time I wouldn't put so much stock on his behavior on one day. Valentine's Day doesn't have to be the only day you are shown love by your partner--truly it shouldn't be. If you weren't together because of school too that would make it even harder to do something nice for you in a way that you could talk to others about. My boyfriend is in Iraq right now so I understand the being alone aspect to the day. But you don't have to be lonely if you know he loves you, I'm not because I know that if he could be here he most certainly would. I'm sure your boyfriend would like to be with you and make things the way you want but right now you can't be but he loves you.

in case you want to discuss stupid holiday journeys, how about New Years Day?. that is gotta be the dumbest holiday ever. that is basically yet another day, yet global celebrations take position each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days for it. Why? can we've a good time the 0.5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, or New 3 hundred and sixty 5 days's end? or quarter of the three hundred and sixty 5 days? can we've large celebrations on the first day of each and every season?? Valentines Day is for enthusiasts. i don't think of that equates to being a dumb holiday. what's unhappy, is that in this lifestyle, anybody thinks that money must be spent with the intention to have a good time it. in case you wanna fall into that seize, be my targeted visitor

I felt lonely on V-Day too. And I spent the day with my guy.

We went into the city, he gave me a rose (which I found a bit awkward to carry all day, to be honest), and we had an alright day. A few things went wrong, but we laughed it off. By the afternoon, we were both a little tired so I suggested going somewhere we didn't need to walk around so much, like the movies or back to his place... He said he was TOO TIRED and wanted to go home by himself. he makes me so mad sometimes...

Sorry, I was answering your question wasn't i?

If your boyfriend didn't do anything for you on Valentine's, don't get too upset. Men don't seem to care as much, and maybe he's not one for the whole commercialised thing the day has become. Some guys are just like that.

Some guys just feel a lot of pressure to do certain things because it is valentine's day and some can't handle it...Maybe he was really hurt in the past on valentine's day, maybe you should ask him how he FEELS about valentine's day...try doing something small for him and maybe he might return the favor

I have a boyfriend too, but spent the day alone. The weather was bad today but we talked this evening on the phone.
My ex-husband never remembered any holiday, not even my birthday, the only day he remembered Christmas.
Many men don't have that warm and fuzzy feeling about Valentine's day.

How often does he see You.? Maybe he can't afford to give you a gift for valentines day because it costs too much to come to see you. But he could give you a phone call and if he has a computer he could email you a free card.
If you don't tell him how you feel and you two don't work it out. drop him . It will only get worse

I think it's a guy thing...I've two best friends who are female...and I've never even thought of giving them something for Valentines...I think guys will only give something on Valentine's Day for their gf....and if their gf found out you got something from him...yikes watch out...even if it is innocent.

guys useally dont pay attention to small detail, if you told him how you feel and he still doesnt do anything about it, trying not doing the things he is used too, some people need a comparison for them to see what they are doing
