I am aware that I might get some cases of GERD, where I feel heartburn down my throat and lower in my gullet. But sometimes at night I wake up in severe pain in my nose and i feel it in the nasal cavity as well. The pain is like a burn, and sometimes my nose leaks which all feels like some acid is poured in there. I try drinking milk but i ending up laying down waiting for it to go.

Sometimes my throat feels "sour" as well, but i feel this is like the early stage of all the 'horror' mentioned above.

Please tell me what i might be suffering here, and how can i get rid of it?

definately sounds like it, but i would see a doctor. You could try some over the counter medications, but you may need something stronger.
Dont eat at least 1-2 hours before bed, Try to sleep on two pillows so you are at an angle, Decrease the portions of your foods, eat smaller meals, and eat meals lower in fat.
That will get you going until you see a doctor.

You can try sleeping with your head elevated and seeing if that helps. As in elevate the entire head of the bed, not just using a pillow.

You probably need to see someone (doctor) as it only gets worse, and there are specific triggers; such as smoking, caffeine, carbonated beverages, onions, garlic, and several more.

With medication, removing the triggers, and some basic things (elevating the head of the bed), you can control it. If you don't, you can end up with severe and permanent damage to the esophagus.

Grossley severe acid reflux I would go to the ER the next time it happens because it sounds like if its that severe you need to get medical attention ASAP and I would schedule an appointment with a doc also
