You can run 33s, but you oughta get a set of tj style flares and trim a bit of your sheet metal and you'll give them more room to flex.

With that Dana 35 I wouldn't go bigger than 33" tires. You could get the Super 35 kit for your rearend to make it stronger and then go up to a 35" tire. You'll still need offset rims that are at least 10" wide. Tire width should be 12.50". This is all you need. You go wider than that, you are just adding extra weight that's not needed and not practical.
P.S. Jerk out that 4 banger and put you a V-8 in there! Find you a wrecked 4x4 chevy truck and swap out the power train. You'll be glad you did, because you are going to wear out that 4 banger.

you can do the 33's with no problem. i'm running them on my 97 with a 2.5 and it does great. they are on 8"wheels which make them baloon a little but at the same time it protects the wheel more when you are offroading.

You can easily do 33 inches on that beautiful machine. Problem is, wheels will cost you a bunch.

YOU CAN FIT UP TO 33'S BUT I WOULD STICK TO 31'S. THE SMALL AXLES DON'T LIKE THE BIG TIRES AND AXLE REPAIRS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SPIN 33'S YOU PROBABLY WON;T BE ABLE TO SPIN 31'S.

If you check any tire place they can tell you what kind of size is on the vehicle. Then u can figure out which ones to put on there.
