all of those mentioned above and the Ford Fusion (hate it) Chrysler 300, Dodge charger, Dodge Magnum, and comming soon the 300hp caliber, some Saabs (made by Subaru) and the Volvos are available in AWD, I think you can get the little one that's the same car as the Fusion only with a Volvo emblem on the front.

I do agree with the guy that likes the Subaru, they have tons of power and deliver the best mileage.

Subaru Forrester, Suzuki Vitara (or the older Samurai), Misubishi Eclipse (some of the older models, anyway), maybe a Rav4 or CRV...out of these, the Subaru is probably your best bet. Good reliability, handles pretty much like a car (low centre of gravity, so its not likely to roll over), but still has the clearance and inside space of a small to medium SUV. Good on gas, too (for a 4WD, that is) too.

i own a shop, and the Subaru Forrester would be the one to have ,its way less then that, and anyone who knows Subaru,s knows their reputation for dependability and i think they was the first to ever put 4 wheel drive in a small car,but you can get a real nice Forrester for way under 30 thousand that is either 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive, you can choose with them, there good vehicles i bought one and tried to wear it out,i sold it at 250 thousand ,i decided it was going to wear me out,you might want to look at them, the look good, and are very reliable ,good luck,i hope this help,s.
