I was in a tail-end accident on Mon. on the way home from work...A guy was traveling to close hit me...The police came and he gave all false information down to an invalid address & claimed to have insureance and doesn't...They want to total my car and I can't afford for that to happen...How do I find this guy to make him pay for something he did, even if to make him pay in small claims court so that I can replace my car...I have a bad back, Thank god I'm not seriously hurt-If I were, then what? This guy got off w/a warning...Thank you so much

Bubbles asked the right question: Did you get his plate number? Have you contacted the police with this information about providing a false identity? Surely the police got his plate number?
Was his car towed - who towed it?
It pretty much boils down to getting enough information to put a real name on this jerk.

well what about his car? did you write down his plate? if u did the police can probably find the registered owner of the car and get his info through the dmv.

good luck i hope u find him and sue his *** off!!
