personally, I'm a fan of freshness. just a few, simple ingredients, and letting them shine. for a simple pasta, get your pasta, cook it till it's al-dente, mix some butter in there with it, a little salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and fresh lemon juice. it's perfect.

A very simple recipe is one I received from an Italian customer of mine. Cook your spaghetti or whatever pasta you want to eat and then:
Take 1 head of broccoli (frozen is good, too)
about 4 Tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves of minced garlic and about 1/2 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese.
Cook the broccoli and oo in a skillet until the broccoli is as tender as you want. Careful don't burn the garlic. Serve over pasta with the cheese shredded on top. It's yummy.

The cork screw noodles take a little italian dressing and mix it. shells you can take bacon bits a little bit of ranch dressing mix(powder) and a lil mayo. Or my all time favorite noodles with a little butter and diced tomatoes.
