i observed the hair loss in the bath tube and on my pillow. I have stopped washing my hair so frequently the past three weeks (now i wash them every 2 or 3 days) and i see a small improvement. Should i change my shampoo? Do any medical tests?

Also, five months ago I first moved to UK for studies. Could the climate change or any psychological factors (adapting here etc) have played any role?

One of the most common reasons for hair loss is an increase in DHT (dihydrotestosterone) in the scalp.

Nisim New Hair Biofactors is a herbal based hair loss shampoo and conditioner range that can help slow down the rate of hair loss by attacking the excessive DHT build up.

It is normal to loose about 100 hairs a day. Hair loss can increase seasonally, too.

Hair washing will not affect hair lose. In fact, the less frequently you wash, the more hair it will seem like your loosing.

If you notice significant thinning, see a dermatologist.

Always use a mild shampoo .Massage the head with oil for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with a shampoo. A hot oil massage with olive oil will also help .Apply a mixture of lemon juice to the scalp .More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

Your hair is probably just thinning, or you may be going bald. Not washing your hair isnt going to help. If its a big problem go to the doctor or try some rogain. If you are on some meds that could also be causing it.

SORRY TO TELL YOU, BUT IF YOU ARE A WHITE MALE, THEY TEND TO GO THIN AND BALD AT A VERY EARLY AGE.
I AM NOT TRYING TO SOUND RACIST OR DISRIMATIVE, BUT I DID A STUDY ON THIS IN COLLEGE AND ITS JUST A PROVEN FACT. YOU HAIR DOES SHED A CERTAIN AMOUNT EACH AND EVERY DAY AS A NORMAL GROWTH PROCESS. I WOULDN'T WORRY TOO MUCH. YOU COULD ALWAYS SEE YOUR DOCTOR IF IT BECOMES A BOTHER.
GOOD LUCK

could be going prematurely bald; is anyone in your bloodline bald? If so, get your dermatologist to prescribe Propecia; it works!

Use a shampoo for dry scalp; Herbal Essence makes a dry and damaged scalp shampoo. Even if you are guy, use it.
