i agree with angels&jinns...

both originated from the same point (ibrahim)

both are similar in more ways that one
- pray to 1 God (not the trinity, multi-gods and demi-gods)
- both are in the quran (but Allah cast them as them shamful ones since they didn't embrace islam)
- etc (can't remember...)

the issue at hand in israel is more of a LAND dispute...

prophet muhammad (SAW) said that the land belongs to the muslims and those of jewish ancestors who are STAYING there shall stay and those who are NOT from the land shall go...

therefore, the issue at hand is more for LAND that anything religious...
the muslims there are not doing jihad or anything...
the zionist are not true to their words in protecting the innocent...
the whole issue is screwed up...

israel is so small and their army is small (with latest tech and craft)
if anybody wanted to end it, they (the country) can but everyone knows it's just about LAND dispute...
once devided and conquered, then what?

islam embraces...
(well, push comes to shove... any religion will react the same except islam bashing boost rating on tv...)

it's a mad mad world out there...

-peace-

I guess you should learn the history before you judge Islam.

Muslims view the Torah as inspired revelations of God. Islam neither targeted the Jews nor Judaism.

Some Points to note:

The Prophet of Islam and the Jews: Basis of Conduct, Acceptance, Respect and Cooperation", Fysal Burhan quotes Dr. Baker: "It is a fact of history that when the Jews
were being persecuted in Europe during the middle ages they found peace, harmony, and acceptance among the Muslim people of Spain. In fact, this was the era of Jewish history
that they themselves refer to as "the golden age."

Marmaduke Pickthall, whose translation of the meanings of the Qur'an remains one of the most popular today, also commented on the subject:

In Spain under the Umayyads and in Baghdad under the Abbasid Khalifas, Christians and Jews, equally with Muslims, were admitted to the Schools and universities - not only
that, but were boarded and lodged in hostels at the cost of the state. When the Moors were driven out of Spain, the Christian conquerors held a terrific persecution of the Jews. Those who were fortunate enough to escape fled, some of them to Morocco and many hundreds to the Turkish empire, where their descendants still live in separate communities, and still speak among themselves an antiquated form of Spanish. The Muslim
empire was a refuge for all those who fled from persecution by the Inquisition.

Today people don't like Isreal is because of the injustice they have done to Palestian people and its not hate towards Judism.

Yah bro,

I am not a bigot or anything, I appreciate and understand the Jews struggle, and how they were smart by working together to reach the positions they have today in America.

I am against Zionism, not indiscriminate hatred towards Jews.. They believe in God after all, and God will judge them for what they used to do.

I think you will find these sites interesting,

True Torah Jews Against Zionism
Non-profit organization of Orthodox Jews dedicated to informing the world that not all Jews support the Zionist state of Israel.

Jews Not Zionists
Taking the position that any form of Zionism is heresy from the Torah. Site includes links to other organizations, and additional information.

Its ancient history..serously

Abraham had two sons Ishmael (youll have to forgive my spelling) and Isaic. Ishmael was the older but Isaic was the "favored of God" therefore Abraham sent Ishmael and his mother away. Ishmael = Ishmaelites = muslims, Isaic = Jews. The two brothers at odds so long ago still has an influence in todays afairs. Dont think this is true? maybe not but Jews and Muslims have been fighting for 100's if not 1000's of years. THIS HAS NOT BEEN JUST A RECENT PROBLEM SINCE WW2. This has gone on for much longer than that. Zionism is just the latest not the original problem

First you need to understand that 'Allah' is a title, not a name; it means 'the lord' and is also used by Arab Christians to refer to their deity YHWH. In the time of Muhammad (grtbg) it was mostly associated with Hubal, the chief of the 300+ deities worshiped at what is now the Kaaba. Muhammad's innovation was not in claiming that Hubal (Allah) was the greatest of deities, but that he was the *only* deity. This didn't go over well, of course, and instead of respecting the sensibilities of his people Muhammad ran away, raised an army, then came back and conquered Mecca. So began the 'religion of peace.'

Anyway, the important thing to remember is that Hubal is a *moon* deity - which is why the emblem of Islam is a crescent moon. The title (*not* a name) 'Hubal' means great chief, and is linguistically related to the title of the chief Canaanite god - Baal. The Canaanites and their descendants are still locked in eternal hostility with the followers of YHWH - a *sun* deity - as they have been for thousands of years.

Yes, it really is that simple.

Not every single Muslim hates Jews and/or Christians. Some people just feel strongly about their faith. Just because some Muslims hate Jews, doesn't mean that every single one does. The Muslims don't like the Jews or Chrsitians because they think when the Bible and the Torah were being translated into different languages, people began to change their content. They started to bend the rules. They started saying things such as, it's alright to drink alcohol and that there's a son of God. Now, Christians and Jews refuse to admit that they're wrong. I'm a Muslim, and that's all I know.

Muslims don't hate Jews. The Prophet (pbuh) told us to love all "People of the Books" which include Jews and Christians.

If anything, Muslims (as well as other Arabs, like Christians and Arab jews) are against zionism, or Israel. This is not racism. Orthodox Jews are also against zionism and Israel.

Anyway, It's understandable some tension exists between both Muslims and Jews because of the conflicts of in Israel and Palestine.

It's not Muslims against Jews. It's Arabs (Muslim, Christians and some Jews) against the Zionists, and the forced creation and oppression caused of the Terrorist State of Israel.

It's more a political thing than a religious one...

Both Muslims and Jews have the same ancestoral root grandfather, Ibrahim (Abraham) PBUH.

Salam!

Muslims hate Jews because Muslims come from Ishmael, while Jews come from Isaac. The root cause is jealousy.(no offonse to Muslims)
