I think if you show him more than one type of dress and not excatly the dress you will be getting is fine. Its nice to get his input on what he likes and what he doesnt so that way you can look your best in his eyes. Just layout a few pics of different styles including ones you like and dont like and dont tell him what you are looking for just ask him what he likes and doesnt, that way you can get that perfect dress without him seeing the final product!

Traditionally they say the groom should not see the dress before the day. I don't hold true with that anymore, men don't generally pay attention to the dress in great detail. For example, about 6 months after I married my ex I asked him "What was my wedding dress like" and he went on to describe a totally different dress, so he had not really paid close attention to it. I bet if you show your fiance he won't remember anyway.

I belive that it is ok. My fiance has seen the pictures of the dresses am thinking about but due to wantting a more traditional wedding (idea wise) he will not know which dress I pick or what i look like in any of them until the wedding day. This is one tradition we wanted to keep fully intact.

My husband actually went shopping with me for my dress. He was there the day I picked it out. I couldn't decide between 3 dresses so I asked my sister to go into the dressing room and choose which one she liked best.
He may have remembered the style of the dress but I knew he wouldn't remember the exact details. He was still blown away when he saw me in it at the wedding.
We've been married for 6 years now.

It's OK to show your dress to you fiance. What if you choose a dress that's hideous? He would save you the embarrassment. But what if you choose a dress that's outrageously beautiful? You can shock him on your wedding day with your beauty. It's entirely up to you.

my fiance has seen pictures of the dress iam getting but i wont let him see me in it until the wedding day. I am flauting tradition and getting married in tartan and i needed to make sure my h2b was happy with my choice and if it could work. Like every part of your wedding its your day and you do what you want to do not what other people tell you to

You can show him pictures of the ones your looking at, and you can even show him the one your getting. You just can't let him see you in the dress until you walk down the aisle and say I do.

he shouldn't see YOU in it, but if they're just pictures of the dress, or someone else(like from a catalog or webpge) modeling it, than i think it's fine. i've shown my fiance pictures of every dress i've ever thought of, and i don' think there's a problem with it. i mean, you wnat to know what he thinks so he's absolutely stunned when he sees you walk down the aisle, right? so why not show him pics of them?

If I were you I would wait until the wedding day. Just to be sure that he is in a log-on position, , and will stay to see the nude picture of me.
