Use to go to this bar downtown 2 or 3 times a week that had the most amazeing ranch Queso dip ever till I got throwned out for the third time for drinking too much and argueing with the barkeep for more drinks. I've tried to make it at home but it's just not the same. I loved that place but I don't press my luck and ever try to go in there.

I usually just eat nachos at the bar, or fried mushrooms. Some bars make excellent fried mushrooms but some have been awful. It is usually safest for me to stick with the nachos... topped with lots of jalepenos!
