Yes - Jesus and God are One and the same. The same Spirit of God - but have different purposes for us. Sorry to burst your bubble, dear one. Please look at John 18:5 - Jesus says "I Am (He) (this "He" is in italics and not in the original Greek - added for us) - so Jesus says He is I Am - you know that is God and so do I. There are many, many more Scriptures that support that Jesus was God in the flesh - 100% man and 100% God. Blessings dear one. One more thing - when we are praising Jesus - we are praising God also - God knows this and is very pleased with our praise and worship of Him and His Son. The only way to the Father is through the Son - Jesus.

i'm no longer a Christian, yet i've got study lots via them and approximately them. the final protection of the Trinity that i've got study is via Dorthy Sayers. She makes use of analogy, of direction, and compares the doctrine of the Trinity with an author. An author gets an theory (God the father) he/she does not incredibly comprehend the place the belief comes from and does not totally comprehend it till he/she starts writing (the belief transcends the tale). via fact the tale is written, it takes on a life-time of its very own and the author can't basically write something or it would be gibberish. the author includes a place interior the tale the place it would make sense to the plot to place in writing him/herself into the tale. the author, mutually as nonetheless being outdoors the tale writes a character into the tale (this would be Jesus, 2nd individual of the trinity). the author has the character act and do basically as he/she would and what occurs to the character will matter on the tale being written; the belief. ultimately, you study the tale and it potential something to you. the author has communicated a message to you in some way. The message is the holy spirit. Dorthy Sayers grew to become right into a chum of C.S. Lewis and he or she wrote some good secret novels besides as some Christian apologetics.

Christians feel that Jesus basically said you can't talk to God without going through me. Sounds a little obsessive-compulsive or even co-dependant, to me.

If I'd already believe in any god, I wouldn't worship him. I think he made a few big mistakes if he really meant to create something at all in the first place. Maybe, half a second before the big-bang, he asked himself : "what's this button for?"

God in Three Persons: God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I think your co-worker is correct. You must have skipped a few verses in your Bible!

Jesus was created how they wanted. The early church adopted Pagan stories and made Jesus into a god. Then tried to eliminate Paganism to cover their tracks.

End result: Worlds largest and most feared religion.
