I dont really know about nautre based but the closed thing that comes to mind is Gnosticism which is like the Kabbalah of Christianity. Its really diverse in its beliefs but I think some believe that God is in nature so there you go. They have their own bible too, and think that the God of Moses and the Old Testament is Satan so that might be bad for you.

I had a friend a while back that was a Pagan Christian.

In early, early Christianity, there were Pagans who were Christians. In fact, it was not uncommon for new Christians to pray to the sun while standing on the church steps.

Personally, I don't think the two really go together, but to each his own...

Christianity is highly influenced by pagan traditions, particularly that of Mithras. Many Wiccan are at least influenced by Christian cultural traditions, if not specific teachings. By contrast, many rural areas of northern Europe are nominally Christian but still observe some pagan-influenced practices.

Incidentally, by theological typology Christ is a solar deity. That's the reason he had 12 apostles.

Well, considering that Christianity's most sacred holiday (Christmas) is actually based on a pagan ritual, I'd say, yes.

look at the story of Utnapishtim from the Epic of Gilgamesh. Sounds quite familiar to another story I read in the bible. Oh I guess I shouldn't question gods existence....
