How long does it take to recover from loss of half of blood volume?

hemoglobin- 6.5
3 transfusions

I've been told a few weeks to a few months. It was caused by a ruptured AVM.

Ooo nasty! It will take at least 6 months to fully recover blood volume and quality. I wish you well.
