I am 48 and my gf is 44. I am divorced and so is she. We have been together for 4 months. We have our differences, and we live on opposite sides of town so we see each other on the w/e. Neither one of us can move in with the other right now. We have another year before we can even think of living together. Her daughter graduates next June from HS. I am working on being patient, but this w/e thing is tough since we are together only Sat.nite/Sunday afternoon. We aren't clicking sexually at this point, but I feel that it takes time to learn the other's likes or kinks. I would like to see this through for at least a year. She is quiet, reserved and is not really open with communication, but I give her respect, cause she's trying to be more open and sharing.
Any ideas or suggestions? I have deep feelings for her and she is a caring woman who loves me for who I am, not what I can give her.

Guess it depends on how much this woman means to you. Children complicate matters and the distance is a pain, although across town is hardly a long-distance relationship.
If she's quiet and reserved, it sounds to me that she might be the type to want to take things slow.
Go with what you feel. If you really love her and care for her (you say you have deep feeling for her) then take time and go slow.

Maybe you should really think about how you can really deal with someone if they are not open wiht communication. That makes it almost impossible to make sure you are on the same page with each other. Sometimes it's easiest to just do your best and hope the other person will reciprocate, but the truth is, you have to have open communication. That has to be the first step, because otherwise you are left to assume which you should NEVER do. It sounds like you treat her with a lot of kindness, understanding, and respect, but I hope you won't feel bad about asking her to talk to you about your concerns. You are in this relationship too! Think about what YOU want, as tough as that can be when you truly care about someone-you deserve at least that.

Good job for being patient! Communicating doesn't always come easily for some people. If you LOVE her keep working on each other's communication skills. Not all relationships have to include sex. It is pure to wait until marriage (if you are getting married). If she's the one then give her some time and space. If you find out she's not then try not to give your heart away. Keep on trying to be patient!!!!!! Try to give her daughter some space too but also show that you're kind and loving. Don't try to be too kool. Just let her have space too. Let her learn on her own to trust you.
Good Luck!!!!!

Why should you go? Hang in there. Give it some time. Four months is nothing. As the relationship progresses you can see more of each other or move in. Be patient!

I don't know if I agree with you about the s x. If it's not really there now, it won't ever be that hot. It's always really steamy in the beginning. That's what kind of binds you to each other in the beginning. So I think if it's not good now it never will be.

Well if u love her you'll persevere with it, good things come to those who wait. If it's meant to be, it'll happen, i think u just need to get over this stage of roughness
