if you are concerned about gorging and eating it when you 'shouldnt' then just throw it away, it's not good for you anyways and will get rid of the temptation.
if you dont want to waste, and know small kids, just distribute to children.
if you work full time, take it in a plastic bag to work, that stuff gets devoured quickly if left in the break room.
if you want to keep it all for yourself, store it away and save it for munchies, or if its chocolate bars freeze them then mush them into ice cream for frozen treats later.

Go for fruits instead of candy.. u can consider fruits such as plum or sultana, thought they are sweet but healthy.
