There is always room for improvement.
God could start by turning Christians into Lawn Jockeys for the Muslims who have no lawns. Then make all of the Muslims gay, tone deaf, color blind, and uncoordinated. The Jews will be given wild cravings for pork and have no sense of business whats so ever. Chickens should be put in charge of the world, and Polar Bears would be the police force.

If he was not so psychopathologically insecure (according to Christian mythology) so that he would not subject believers in other Gods to Hell, then he would be more awesome.

Yes, he could. He'd be more awesome if he didn't send people to hell to burn for all eternity. He'd be more awesome if he didn't allow all the pain and suffering in the world, if he didn't allow little children to be abused or starve to death.
