you sure can, but at the last car dealer i worked we only put the real problematic cars on ebay that we didnt want to sell in town cuz you hope they dissapear and you never see them again. i would only consider a car on ebay if its a private seller. if there is any indication its a dealer dont buy on ebay.

Yes, you sure can! I bought a great car for a bargain several years ago and it was a fast and easy transaction.
Like anything else, do lots of research on what you're buying and what average price ranges are, read the auction listings and policies carefully, review the sellers' feedback comments, and ask the seller any questions ahead of time to avoid problems.

Yes, and you can really get ripped off, too. Have an inspection done, and make sure you are not paying too much. A CarFax report would also be good. Make sure you use an escrow service to handle the title and payment. Be very careful.

Not much protection for the buyer.
BTW, PayPal Buyer protection is completely useless.

I have bought several. Just make sure to inspect them if u cant have a mechanic from the area inspected it and get back to you.
