Don't throw away your happiness for anyone else! There is enough happiness to go around. If not, find it elsewhere.
Being a martyr only leads to resentment later on.

Well, it's partially true, but you shouldn't be unhappy. I would say that you are more happy making her happy than making yourself happy. Or that you are happiest when she is happy. But seriously, no love will last if both people in the relationship aren't happy. The best relationships are those that are founded on both living to make THE OTHER PERSON happy. If you aren't happy, then she isn't doing her job.

There was a blind girl who hated herself because of her blindness. Not only
did she hate herself but she hated everyone else, except her loving
boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see
the world, she would marry her boyfriend. One day, someone donated a pair
of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you marry
me?" The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and
refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a
letter to her that simply said..."Just take care of my eyes, dear."

I think that's a bit unrealistic.
Caring is sacrificing your happiness sometimes for the sake of hers, but at the complete expense of yours? If she's willing to let that happen, she's not worth it.

no its true, this is the difference between mature and immature love, immature love is when you want that person to be happy....only with you, and mature love is just when you want them to be happy! period
