Sometimes Moving is just the easy way out. Whoever you were before is not a reflection of who you are today which is a good thing and something you should certainly commend yourself for, so whoever wants to label you let them you cannot change peoples views about you with words but by your actions. You should not want to compromise what your family has already sustained (e.g. JOB/Home and etc) to get away from people who are judging you and have yet lived to see the outcome of their own lives. Keep your head up!!

Honey - there is so much more to moving than packing and unpacking. There are commutes to consider. All the bills to change. Appliances. Nieghbors you've grown close to. Differences in rent or house prices. A LOT more than packing and unpacking!! Also - you may very well be in the school you are in because it is highly rated - and perhaps your parents worked hard to make sure you could go to THAT school.
If you messed up your reputation - then it's YOUR responsibility to clean it up now. Perhaps you should talk to your parents about what's going on. Tell them you want to try to clean up your reputation for the rest of this school year. If it doesn't work - THEN maybe your parents will be willing to go after YOU have made some effort.

It's really sad that you have to go to that school everyday and ruin your life. If I were you I would think of moving out to somewhere I belong. We can live only once, why should we spend it in hell. But sometimes it's not that easy. How can you be sure that the new place will be better than the old one? Bad people are around everywhere. Is it not a chance for you to stand up now, and say HEY to them? Like this. Hey come on guy, I can kick your ***. Your confidence is all what you need now.

I completely understand how you feel. Living in a town of around 2,500 people my whole life, it drove me crazy. Everyone knowing who you were, you knowing everyone. Not to mention the fact that whenever you turned around there were rumors and lies. I really wanted to move away from that too! But when we did move, which was this past June, I could hardly stand it. It has been about 7 and a half to 8 months since we have moved, and I am still getting used to it. As much as it may drive you insane, and trust me...it does, just remember that you are lucky to be where your friends and family are!

If your parents would actually consider moving because you dont like the reputation you have at school than the genes you inherited from them explain your question to the rest of us.

You will be leaving school one day and you won't have to associate with anyone you went to school with if you don't want to.
Don't worry that people at school still think of you as "the old you"
just ensure you have good friends and family outside of school.

If you are not old enough to move out on your own, then you are stuck. You cannot make your parents uproot their lives for a bad decision that you made.
