God doesn't exist. That's all just superstition.

In the premortal existence, Heavenly Father prepared a plan to enable us to become like Him and receive a fulness of joy. The scriptures refer to this plan as "the plan of salvation" (Alma 24:14; Moses 6:62), "the great plan of happiness" (Alma 42:8), "the plan of redemption" (Jacob 6:8; Alma 12:30), and "the plan of mercy" (Alma 42:15). The plan of salvation is the fulness of the gospel. It includes the Creation, the Fall, the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and all the laws, ordinances, and doctrines of the gospel. Moral agency, the ability to choose and act for ourselves, is also essential in Heavenly Father's plan. Because of this plan, we can be perfected through the Atonement, receive a fulness of joy, and live forever in the presence of God. Our family relationships can last throughout the eternities.

The plan of our Creator centers around His gospel. Our Heavenly Father wanted us to come to this earth to prove ourselves worthy of our own divine potential. In this plan we each receive a mortal body and moral agency to choose whom we will serve in this life. We each have the power to choose either what is good or what is evil in this life on earth.
Through the obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel we can each obtain a place in our Father's Kingdom. At the last day, we will all be judged according to our works. I have gained a testimony that we will be judged according to how much we became like our Father in Heaven during this life.
According to this plan, our Father gave each and every one of us the opportunity to choose for ourselves, and each of us may obtain salvation. The only thing that is required is that we love Him and keep His commandments.

It doesn't matter what we think. The plan of salvation is clearly outlined in the Bible.

Our sins have caused a separation between us and holy God. God loves us and wants to have an eternal relationship with us. God took on flesh(Jesus) and He became the sacrifice for our sins on the cross, so that if we repent and put our faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord, He will save us, forgive us, and we will be reconciled to God and become part of His family. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." -John 3:16 (The title "Son of God" refers to the second Person of the Trinity, the Son. God is one God who is revealed in three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is tri-une.). www.equip.org

I think it is quite odd. First god "created" humans. Then god insists that these humans accept him as lord and savior without showing himself to these humans. If humans accept this they will get rewarded with eternal life after death. If humans do not accept this, they will be sent to hell.
Don't you think this is rather odd and cruel?
