Yesterday I got Photoshop and installed it right away on my computer to use it. However, I got a bad problem on my computer, so I had to re-image it. Today, I tried reinstalling Photoshop. The CD didn't autorun though. I checked inside the CD on "My Computer" and saw that there was nothing wrong with it (as far as I know with installation files). I tried running Setup.exe, but when it loads, it just stops. I thought about waiting for the installation thing to show up, but about a half an hour later, it isn't loaded. I'm the only one who's actually touched my Photoshop CD, and I'm pretty sure I didn't screw with it. Is there any way I can get the setup back running "normally" w/o it not loading up?

If you have a legitimate CD, try installing in Safe Mode. That way, interference with the transfer to your hard drive will be minimized.

Insert the CD, cl Start, cl Run. Browse and select D: It should be setup.exe or install.exe

One thing...is the version of PhotoShop legal??...As in you bought it??

If so...then when you "re imaged" your computer...all you did was carry over the same problem that was going on with it in the first place...try finding the drivers for you CD drive from the manufactuers website..

if it isn't a legal CD...then it won't work...they cracked down on that big time
