I don't have any vices like gambling, cheating, smoking, taking drugs, or drinking. My boyfriend gets angry and thinks my surfing the net is a "waste of time". If I enjoy doing it, what's wrong with that?

I use to be like that. A little too controlling. My girlfriend told me she already had a father ... and didn't need another one.

its his own opinion, he problem had some issues with the internet when he used it. if you enjoy it and the only reason he can come up with to not use it is "waste of time" then you may as well keep on using it. if you enjoy it and it doesn't do anything exept "waste time" (if your bored why not waste time) then keep on doing it. if he doesn't want to use it that's his problem, not yours

most likely he may feel that u are choosing the net over him, he's ignorant, selfish, confused, or maybe he's just suspcious
