no, no ,no please... skip the sports and weather mundane crap. he'll think you hate him and are trying not get personal. My advice, be as unprepared as you can. All of your subtle little nuances will direct the conversation well enough. All of your reactions, legitimate.

I have found that guys--particularly ones that you have known for a while--aren't hard to talk to at all. I know it's hard at first, but believe it or not, guys are human beings too!! Talk to them about casual stuff...if you're really desperate, ask him where he got his cell phone, or something like that.

tell him your dream car and what cars u like best and ask him his if hes into that kinda stuff if he iz u guys wii talk about that for a while then onto sumthin else then your talkin all night! good luk happy v day! <3

ask him about sports lots of guys can go on for hours about sports (althogh this may seem boring to you) ask him about the upcoming draft and football stuff
