I sure it is, but you have to keep it in the refrigerator for quite some time, after you brought it. I know people who just eat it like a piece of bubble gum, just crack the eggs and sip it. Who knows the people get sick or not.
Try it, and experiment.

For the most part yes, it's okay to eat eggs raw. There is however a chance that you can get sick. Just make sure the eggs are fresh.

An awful lot of athletes are doing it, so it must be safe. Generally, any fresh egg should be safe. To determine if the egg is fresh or not, Pour a glass of water. Put a whole egg - still in the shell - into the water. If the egg sinks like a rock, it's fresh. If it floats, it is not fresh and should be thrown out.

Helpful Dan is right. Only 1 in 20,000 eggs will have salmonella but what is the benefit of consuming a raw egg? If you must, use a pasteurized liquid egg product like egg beaters.

Yes, the only danger is that of salmonella. You can eat a thousand eggs and never get it, but there's always the chance if the egg is raw.

I have never heard that raw (chicken) eggs are good for a sore throat. My opinion is that they wouldn't help. If you decide to do it, make sure you swallow only pasteurized raw eggs, to reduce the possibility of salmonella poisoning. Eating known-to-be-clean (like pasteurized) raw eggs in moderation is good for you, indeed.

I would not eat them if they arent cooked. Chickens are processed in very unsanitary conditions, thus, you have salmonella, poop on the shell, feathers sometimes...bad, bad choice. On the other hand, yes, a whole lot of peeps eat raw eggs. But if your doing it to buld up on protein, there are some really good tasting shakes out there now.

Not really because of salmonella. That will make you very sick or you could die from it. Please by all means be careful on eating raw eggs
