Focus on what he likes. If he loves animals, try the zoo. Seriously. My mentally ill grandpa used to 'disappear' from his hospital. He loved trains. We could always find him at the train tracks.
Try all the places he likes and has been with you. Park, movies, etc. Try places kids love, like arcades. I don't know how old he is. Have you tried calling local stores to ask themif they can check their camera tapes? Try public places that are crowded and warm, like libraries or schools. I hope you find him soon.

First of all, how old is your son? Is he a child or an adult? Also, has he just wandered off, been abducted, or what? For starters, call the police and area hospitals. Is there a specific place he went to on a daily basis? Maybe people have noticed him around.
