Im 13 years old and i still don't have a boyfriend. I know that im still young and everything and there aren't any guys that im intersted in at my school. But still, it is Valentines day and i feel lonely... Is this normal? When did u start going out? When was ur first kiss? Just wondering. what shoudl i do? Thanks for your help. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

It's okay to not have a boyfriend, not only at your age, but at any age. If there are no guys at your school interested in you at this time-that's okay, they are missing out on someone good. Yes, this is normal. Valentines' Day is about love. I had a boyfriend when I was in 7th grade, my first kiss was by a guy who wanted to kiss me, not my bf. I was rather young at the time. What should you do? Relax. Do you have a pet? You could wish your parent(s) a Happy Valentine's Day. Oh yes, by the way, after the bf in 7th grade, I didn't date again until I was in high school. And only a little bit. I had guys for friends at school, just to see them at school. And, that was okay. Some girls don't have a bf until into college. And, that again, is ok. Hun, I am practically married and I feel lonley today! So it can be normal. Dont be rushed into having a boyfriend, it may seem so great but it really isnt. Trust me. You will know when someone is interested. I had a little boyfriend when I was your age, and at the Valentines day dance was my first kiss. Not that great! So you arent that far off. Of course it's normal. Valentines Day makes everyone who doesn't have a partner feel like crap. You are young and in a couple more years you will have lots of boys asking you out on dates. The fact that there is no one at your school that interests you is.....well....just that.......your not interested in them. Remember this.....don't settle for anyone just because you don't want to be single...........Be with someone who YOU want to be with.......Just give yourself a few years before you start to date, don't rush into the dating scene, enjoy your youth. By the way.....first kiss at age 16 and it wasn't all that, very slobbery! Boys don't know anything about romancing a woman until they are at least in their 20's.

you'll never find a guy by looking for one....they show up when least expected. From my experience anyway. Don't feel lonely, 13 is young you have the rest of your life ahead of you. And it will come real fast.
my first kiss was when I was about your age, and it looking back at it now more than 10 yrs later it ment nothing, wait and make your first kiss and date very special, don't rush in to anything because you think you should

OK ... first off ... 13 years old .. great age for everything .. but go slow. You don't HAVE to have a boyfriend / girlfriend!
Sencond. Valentines day is a comertial device to get ppl to but flowers etc. If you have a partner bf gf wife husband, you should show them you love them all year round .. not just one day.
I buy my wife flowers during the year at odd times ... just coz I love her. yet we do nothing for valentines day.
To not feel so lonely, go hang out with friends .. enjoy being 13!!

Its ok. i didnt have a boyfriend at your age either. I had a boyfriend when i was 14, and you know what? i would have been better off without it! enjoy being single. be confidant and flirt and have fun and hang out with your girlfriends. thats what being young is all about. now im 21 and im married, and i often think back on how much fun ive missed out on. enjoy everythin. being single is the best thing to be at your age.

you would be surprised at how many beautiful girls don't have boyfriends. i have Friends in college that have never had a boyfriend. personal i am 17 and i just haven't found someone who has interested me enough to slow down for. i have plenty of Friends and plenty of Friends who are guys. right know though it is sometimes hard you just should enjoy yourself and what life gives ya. you will find your Mr. Darcy soon enough.....you will have to goggle and watch a movie for that one! happy v-day sweetie!
