There are tons of websites that do it for pretty darn cheap. Especially if you have time to spare and can save on shipping. Here's one I've used and am happy with: http://www.iprintfromhone.com. But shop around--there may be some closer to you that you can send files to and pick up.

A quick search of the web shows that there are companies out there that do what you are asking for. I have not heard of practical way for an individual user to do convert digital to slide.

One site was colorslide.com, which advertised the conversion for around 1.65 per slide...Sounds reasonable.

i purchased an less expensive Epson Perfection 3490 flatbed image scanner (workstation USB connection). This has an attachment for 35 mm movie strips or 4 slides. It did an magnificent pastime. there is probably now a later version. i might want to move the photos to my digicam if i needed to.
