im getting my hair done and i am wondering which lenght of hair do you prefer on say a fifteen year old.
(1)shot hair-below ears to above sholders.
(2)mid lenght-above sholders to below sholders
(3)long-below sholders to waist.
(4)just mention a hair lenght.

Shoulder length usually works well with any face shape, when youre older short hair looks really nice (I mean like 16-17-18 years old), like just above the soulders and a bit past the chin- slightly layered of course. I say get your hair cut like an inch or two below your shoulders.

You don't determine a good hair legnth by age. Hair legnth should be decided based on a person's face shape. Some look good with long hair, some look better with short, etc. What face shape do you have? (round, oval, long, heart, etc.) A few examples. Those with round faces are one of the few face shapes that actually look better with long (at least 2 in. below the chin) hair. The long hair visually legnthens the face. Oval faces can pretty much wear their hair at whatever legnth they choose. Long faces look better with shorter hair (typically at chin-legnth or shorter) as long hair drags the face down and makes it appear longer.

Mid length, above shoulders. Getting it layered would be cute, but don't get the stupid emo layering. Long hair is nice, but very common.

My Advice: I think that you should make that choice. Because certain hair styles look good on certain people. And we wouldn't be able to know how it would appear on you. Whatever fits you and whatever makes you comfertable I think you should go for it. But my opinion is don't get it all cut to short. So pick whatever you would like!

I depends on what shape of face you have.
Round:Keep hair close to your face
Oval:Any way.
Square:Soft bangs.
Heart:Close to chin.
