Brown it with some diced onions. Salt and pepper, and put in a roasting pan with enough water to cover. Place in a 325-350 degree oven and bake for 3 hours. The last hour or so, add peeled and diced potatoes, carrots, and more onions.

Put the roast in a crock pot. Mix together 1package of dry onion soup mix, 1 can of mushroom soup and 1/2 can of milk. Pour over the roast and let it go all day. The roast will be very tender and the gravy already made. If you want, you can add potatoes and carrots a couple hours before your ready to eat.

Put the roast, some beef soup base, onions, carrotts, potatoes and enough water to cover the bottom of a heavy pan with a lid. Cook in the oven at 350 degrees 4-6 hours, until it starts to pull apart.

Dust with flour and brown on all sides in a large pot. Mix together 1 can French Onion soup and 1 can Golden Mushroom soup and pour over roast. Add 1 onion, diced, 1 bag baby carrots, and 2 ribs of celery. Cover and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.

This is my absolute FAVORITE comfort food!

Put the roast with about 1 can beef broth and Lipton onion soup mix in the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. I like to simmer the potatoes and carrots on the stove in the broth.

Put in in a heavy pan with a lid, covering it with water. Either use beef soup base or your own substitute for flavoring. Cook in the oven at 350 degrees 3 - 5 hours, until it starts to pull apart, then add the vegetables and cook till they're done.

If you do it right, you can serve it with a spoon.

Sear it in a smoking hot skillet then place it in a heavy dutch oven with some veggies, some tomato paste and a few inches of water. Bring to a boil and then cover, reduce heat and simmer for at least an hour a pound.
